Racing Management

We provide complete, hands-on guidance to help you make informed decisions across every aspect of your racehorse’s career. From selecting the correct trainer, veterinarian or farrier, to advising on race planning and campaign strategy, we ensure your horse is placed to succeed.

We maintain regular contact with your horses’ trainers and keep you updated on their progress, training schedules, and upcoming racing targets. Yard visits are arranged to view your horses in person, observe them on the gallops, and ensure every aspect of their preparation is closely monitored.

If you're based abroad or only travel to the UK and Europe occasionally, having a trusted Racing Manager on the ground is essential. At Brownsbarn, we can attend race days on your behalf—liaising with the trainer and jockey, watching your horse run, and providing a full report post-race. Our presence ensures you're represented with professionalism, discretion, and attention to every detail.

We also offer honest, data-informed advice on when to hold, sell, or trade—whether your horse is at it’s mark or has potential to improve it’s value.

Bloodstock Portfolio Management

Our breeding services are built on data, pedigree insight, and commercial foresight. We advise on broodmare selection, design bespoke mating plans, and manage stallion nomination bookings to maximise outcomes—both in the sales ring and on the track.

We provide regular updates and visit studs on your behalf to monitor your stock, ensuring your interests are actively protected and well represented. We also advise on when to retain, or sell mares, foals or yearlings—guiding smart, well-timed decisions.

Agency

With your authority to act as agent, we handle every aspect of bloodstock acquisition—from sourcing foals, yearlings, breeze-up horses to mares and horses-in-training, both privately and at public auction. We manage the full process: conducting due diligence, valuations, and veterinary checks, right through to bidding and post-sale logistics.

Ahead of each sale, we provide detailed reports with curated shortlists and informed notes on the horses we believe are worth targeting. During the sale, we keep you fully updated on the buying list and are always a phone call away—ready to act on your instructions when bidding begins.

We decipher vet reports, assess physicals, match pedigrees, and make decisions based on horsemanship, commercial judgement, and hands-on experience.

We cover all major sales at Goffs, Tattersalls, Arqana, Keeneland, and Fasig-Tipton throughout the calendar—ensuring consistent, expert representation wherever opportunities arise.

Client Hospitality

Raceday hospitality can be as relaxed or as refined as you wish—from a table in the owners’ restaurant to a private box. Whether you're entertaining family or hosting clients, we’ll curate the perfect setting to make your day seamless, memorable, and enjoyable.

In addition, we can arrange hotel bookings at both racing and sales venues, ensuring you're staying somewhere comfortable, convenient, and perfectly suited to your preferences—so every detail of your experience is handled with care.

Administrative Support

We can take care of the day-to-day administration so you can focus on the enjoyment of ownership. This includes managing registrations, insurance, invoicing oversight to ensure accurate charges, and all correspondence with Weatherbys, HRI, and the BHA.
