Racing Competition Winner Announced
Congratulations to Emma O’Brien, the winner of our competition last week. Enjoy and we hope you have a blast with one of your friends.
Syndicate Update
The BBT team were at Tattersalls July all this week. We will have a video for all syndicate owners uploaded to the group tomorrow explaining how we work the sales, what we were interested in purchasing and why we purchased nothing.
The sales were extremely strong throughout all sessions. This was manifested in a 100% clearance rate for the first half of Friday’s session before racing. Unheard of in the 10+ years I have been going to the sales.
Our plan was to pick up a filly in training, who we could improve to sneak blacktype. Put in foal and offer for resale at the July sale next year or at the December Breeding Stock Sale. We couldn’t find the right one with our strict budget and judgement.
A more indepth video will be published to our syndicate owners.
We still have shares available in our filly. If you would like to get involved hit the button below to grab your share.
We share a video to our owner’s private group every Sunday. Including an update on their respective horse along with something educational about racing or bloodstock.

Charlie talks…Weekend Racing
This weekend sees Newmarket’s July course spring into action with The July Cup the main event.
The race itself will answer lots of questions will Starman prove himself the top class sprinter everyone thinks he is or will the gelding Rohaan continue his incredible rise through the ranks and walk off with one of the main sprinting group 1 races of the year. If so they will both have to topple the main star in the division so far this year in Oxted who won so impressively at Royal Ascot. Let’s hope they all line up and that ground conditions remain on the good side so we can all witness a proper burn up.
If that is the case I really fancy Starman to build on his latest performance and show everyone he is the real deal.
The Banbury Cup is the feature handicap on the card and looks a real puzzle to try and solve. It’s exactly the sort of race I love to get my teeth stuck into trying to access whether the unexposed progressive horses or older well handicapped performers will come to the fore. On this occasion one from each brigade stands out to me Oo De Lally Looks progressive and this one time 2000 Guineas entry could be well ahead of his mark. Of the older horses Lord Rapscallion appeals off a pound lower mark than his last winning mark. Although a note of caution with him is the fact he has a great record at Goodwood and connections may be working back from a return there later this month. Keep on eye on him in the market.
